Bringing back the Caprice

Returning from KI we had a mission to bring the Ford Caprice back to the mainland..ok  it wasn't a Ford Caprice, it's a Ford Capri, but it was amusingly marked on our boarding passes as a Caprice.  In addition Jett was down as Mr Jetta McComb, and most inexplicably of all, Zali's boarding pass was for a  Mr Sally McComb. Ha - you've got to wonder what the Sealink staff were thinking as they were typing that out.

Anyway - Jon found a driving hat in the back seat, so he totally looked the part as he stepped into the car on the mainland..  Wisely he had the top up for the journey back to Adelaide as it was 38 degrees and he could have passed out from heatstroke otherwise. Unfortunately for him the A/C wasn't working, so he almost got heatstroke anyway..

Once in Adelaide we stopped in at West Beach to catch up with some friends. From there back to Belair Jon had the top down, and together with Jett they looked like the leads in Ferris Beuler's day off...
