So we've got this bathroom. There's absolutely nothing wrong with it - everything works - the pressure is great, the lights are fine, the mirror reflects etc etc. Thus - I could not justify spending any more than $200 on it to make it more to my liking. My original plan was $200 and 2 days but what with cakes and kids it's taken more like 8 days - but that's probably only about 3 in tv renovation days anyway and hey if my family had let me stay up all night belting the tiles off the walls then maybe I would have been done in 2 days. Anyways - here are the before and during photos - the most serious object of my dislike has always been the wooden bath - The wood panelling has made me feel like I'm travelling in Kermit the Frog's car in the Muppet Movie. And while the wooden vanity unit is fitting - our kitchen has enough wood panelling for any family I recon. To keep within my budget I kept using mosaic tiles that we happend to have around from other mosaic projects - so I didn't get to go wild with the tile colour scheme or anything but given the rate at which I was destroying the replacement white tiles, it's a good thing we weren't paying top dollar for imported italian ceramic tiles.
